Terms of service
Last updated 31 October 2026
Who we are
Fadedot is made by Fortuna Digitas, Bosnia and Herzegovina ("we", "us"). These terms apply when you use the Fadedot website and app. By starting a trial, subscribing or using the app, you agree to them.
What Fadedot is
Fadedot is a web app that prepares artwork for DTF printing. It runs in your browser and needs a recent version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
Trial, price and billing
- Fadedot costs $8 a month or $80 a year, plus any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live.
- New customers get a 7-day free trial. You enter a payment method when the trial starts. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the first month or year is charged when it ends.
- The trial is for new customers, one per person.
- The subscription renews every month or every year, depending on the plan you chose, until you cancel.
- Payments are handled by Polar (polar.sh), which sells Fadedot to you as merchant of record. Polar takes the payment, sends the receipts and handles tax. Polar's own terms also apply to the purchase.
Cancelling
You can cancel any time from the customer portal linked in your Polar emails. If you cancel during the trial, you pay nothing. If you cancel later, the app keeps working until the end of the month or year you paid for, and you aren't charged again. For refunds, see the refund policy.
Your license
While your subscription is active, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Fadedot for your own work, including paid print jobs for your customers. Your license key is for you. Don't share it or publish it.
What you may not do
- Copy, download or redistribute the app's code, or host it anywhere else.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, except where the law allows it regardless of these terms.
- Get around the license check or any other access control.
- Use the app or its code to build or train a competing product.
- Resell, rent or sublicense access to the app.
If you break these rules, we may end your access without a refund.
Your artwork
Your designs are processed in your browser and are never sent to us. You keep all rights to your artwork and to the files you export. You are responsible for having the rights to the artwork you work with.
Print results
Fadedot shows you the exported file exactly. How it prints depends on your printer, film, powder, settings and shirts, so check your results with a test print before a large order. We aren't responsible for failed or wasted prints.
Changes to the app and the price
We improve Fadedot over time and may add, change or remove features. If we raise the price, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before your next renewal at the new price, so you can cancel first.
Availability
We aim to keep Fadedot available, but we can't promise it will always be. The app needs an internet connection to check your license when it opens.
Liability
Fadedot is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we give no warranties beyond those in these terms, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or takes away your rights as a consumer.
Copyright
© 2026 Fortuna Digitas. The Fadedot app, its code, design and website are protected by copyright. All rights reserved. We send takedown notices for copies of Fadedot found elsewhere.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell subscribers by email before the change takes effect.
